- Learning the history behind the myth of the Thanksgiving holiday. We acknowledge and honor this holiday is a Mourning Day for our Indigenous brothers and sisters who were disowned and displaced from the land they lived on and cared for.
- All those who support, acknowledge, and appreciate me, from my partner, children, and family to my team and clients. Leadership and life have meaning through our relationships and connectedness.
- And, I am deeply grateful for our newest family member: Charlie. I see in his smiling eyes and hear in his little laugh the pure joy of being alive.
- The earth and sky and all that nature is and how it gives to us all to sustain our lives. May we wake up and care for our natural environment as it cares for us.
- My mindfulness practice, which gives me access to the real-time flow of experience, a deep connectedness with others, and all that this messy life gives us. Simply being in the here and now and not caught up in my mind replaying the past or anticipating the future is true freedom.
